	Aug 2011	This is the REAL DEAL! I cannot believe how quickly I was paid. I sent the books in on Monday morning (FREE shipping via FedEx). They received the books on Wednesday and I got money in my paypal account by Wednesday afternoon! Very helpful e-mail updates throughout the process, so I was not left wondering if my books got there or when I would get paid. The prices they gave me was also usually the highest quoted by any on-line buyback company. Wish I had known about this company before my final semester @college. THANK YOU SO MUCH, textbooksrus!
	Jul 2011	On June 1st I sent both moola4books and textbooksrus some of my old textbooks. Textbooksrus very promply paid me the full price that they said they would, and I was incredibly impressed. Considering 2 months later I still haven't recieved a cent from the other vendor, this is even more impressive for textbooksrus. I definitely reccomend using textsbooksrus, you'll get a fair price and you'll get your money surpisingly quick.

	May 2011	I was very unhappy with this company. I sent them 2 books, one was for about $20.00 and one for under $2.00. Both were fine and I got paid $1.65. When I checked into it they said it moldy and had no value. It was not moldy and it most certainly had value. I don't understand how these companies can get away with this. They can just take your book and say too bad! I wanted my book back and they did not respond to my email. If I am willing to pay to have my book shipped back then I should get my book back! I feel like it was stolen! After books are shipped you just have to cross your fingers and hope they pay you and I am talking about all of them! Well at least the ones I've used. I don't like this helpless feeling at all and I would like to see some accountability on their end.

	Feb 2011	Bait and switch. BookScouter gives a quote for a certain book buy from textbooksrus for $22.50. When I go to their site, they are only offering $9.50 for the book. I go back to Bookscouter an hour later, Textbooksrus are STILL quoted as paying $22.50 for the same book. I've been noticing several book buying companies doing the same thing to drive you to their site. I have sold books to them in the past, but now I am inclined to just ignore their quotes.

I know that it was by far the best looking book I sent them. I barely opened, and they claimed water damage. The other books were not water damaged, and I know that one book had a ripped cover, that they bought. Shady company...am waiting to hear if they will send me my book back. Just want the money!! How horrible!!
	Dec 2010	I sent 25 books totaling $50. My first reply was to tell me that I forgot to put 19 of the books in the box. I sent 8 other boxes to different companies and although not all books were accepted, at least they admitted getting them. Nothing was said about damage to the box, so I am left to assume that they are just thieves. I would strongly suggest not doing business with people who would think nothing of stealing children's Christmas money. The books that made it to them were, of course, the cheapest copies. The text books were mysteriously missing.

This damage was done while they were in their possession or in transit with Fed Ex. I filed a complaint with the BBB and a claim with Fed Ex. In the end, I still have my damaged textbooks and no money. TextbooksRus is the worst company I have dealt with online. Stay away from TextbookRus.com.

	Oct 2010	Gave me a quote for a book, but paid zero for it, claiming it was "open" whatever that means. No indication on the website about it needing to be in any special condition. Quote was given for a Used book so it isn't a matter of whether it is new or wrapped. Book was in unused brand new condition, so there is no indication of being in poor condition. I contacted them through their website about this, and did not receive any response.

Although they stated that some of my books were not as good as they thought they should be, they did not send me as much money as I had been quoted. Unless the books were damaged in shipment, I feel that they were no totally fair with me. I am happy with they prompt service.

I got an email that the box was received at the TextbooksRus warehouse on Wednesday around noon. By 2pm the same day I had my full payment in my PayPal account. That is less than 48 hours between dropping off my books and receiving payment.

However, once they received my books (which were in excellent condition), they paid me less than half of what was quoted and proceeded to ignore all the emails I sent them regarding this. Their website is a scam and unless you want to get ripped off and tricked, use a different website!
	Jun 2010	Based on my 5+ dealings with Textbooksrus, I highly recommend them because: 1) Their buyback prices are usually much higher. 2) They pay quickly via Paypal, usually within 1-2 day of receiving your packages. 3) They pay for FedEx shipping regardless of buyback amount (most textbook buyers require a $50 minimum buyback) 4)They respond quickly to email inquiries.

They declared my books were used even though they were in never read, mint condition. And then deducted here and there for each book quote even though when I was filling out the online book quote originally, the price for most of my books were the same for New Condition and Used Condition! Also claimed I shipped a book to them that wasn't in their system and so they did not pay me for that book, which was a lie! This company will also not be receiving any more shipments from me.

	Jun 2010	I use this company regularly via the Abebooks.com interface. Good communications, fast check-in & payment. Have had very few books rejected. Only reason that I won't give it a full five-stars is because you can leave books in the buyback basket for several days (or more) but the final quoted price can fluctuate daily, which can be a bit confusing/annoying ... although this CAN work in your favor sometimes if the price goes UP a bit! Once you finalize your shipment, they do pay the quoted price upon receipt.
	Jun 2010	I did a buyback with them for two books. I got a message back saying that one of the books flashcards were all torn up. It was a blatant lie! All the flashcards were perfectly intack. First of all they didn't ask for any extra flashcards or anything. So they said because of the flashcards being torn up they were just going to throw the book away. I e-mailed them and never got an answer back. So there went 40 dollars down the drain.

I sent them a very pricey textbook one week ago, using their FedEx shipping system, and received payment from them today, again for the full amount quoted. For me, they have been a reliable buyer and I will continue using them.

	Feb 2010	I had used this site for several years without a problem, and then I got the "no payment because the books were water-damaged" treatment mentioned in three other reviews here. My books were brand new, right out of the shrink-wrap, and were definitely not damaged in any way when I shipped them by Fedex. I asked TextbooksRus to help me file a claim with Fedex and they replied that the shipping carton was not wet or damaged! TextbooksRus is either deliberately scamming or it has an unacknowledged problem in their receiving department. Until they correct this problem and send me the $92 they owe me I will not do business with them again, and I recommend you don't either.
